An Indian tax department-issued PAN card is an alphanumeric number with ten numbers that is a unique 10-digit number. For an Indian citizen, it is one of the most important documents. In addition to being used for tax purposes, it also acts as identification.
If your PAN card contains mistakes in your name, date of birth, or other personal information, this can cause problems in the future. It is therefore advised that you have your PAN corrected as soon as possible if there are errors.

How to apply for a correction to your PAN card online
If the PAN is registered in your name, choose Individual.
After printing the application, the applicant should send it to the NSDL e-gov office along with the physical proof of documents. Individual applicants are required to attach a photograph to the acknowledgment and sign it so that a portion of their signature appears on the photograph and acknowledgment receipt.
Put 'Application for PAN Change' along with the acknowledgment number on top of the envelope. Send it to NSDL e-Gov at 5th Floor, Mantri Sterling, Plot No. 341, Survey No. 997/8, Model Colony, Near Deep Bungalow Chowk, Pune - 411 016.

You will be charged for your PAN card. There is a fee of Rs. 110 for an Indian communication address RS. 864 for a foreign communication address to apply for a Permanent Identification Number.
Both UTI Infrastructure Technology And Services Limited (UTIITSL) and National Securities Depository Limited offer PAN cards in India. The two are not significantly different. Both of them work for the Income Tax Department of India. Both companies take almost the same amount of time to process PAN applications. NSDL has more offices and franchises in India, however.
